Homemade Sugar Free Chocolate Bites Recipe

Can’t resist something sweet after dinner? Try ditching the over-processed, highly sweetened chocolates and try my super simple sugar free chocolate recipe, made with antioxidant-rich Raw Cacao.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Forest Super Foods Raw Ceremonial Cacao Powder

½ cup extra virgin coconut oil

¼ cup maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)

Pinch of salt

½ tsp vanilla extract

To top: bee pollen, dried nuts (especially roasted almonds – delicious!)

Method:

In a double boiler, or stainless steel bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, melt the coconut oil.

Once melted, whisk in the cacao, honey or maple syrup, salt and vanilla extract, whisk till smooth

Pour the mixture into chocolate moulds, making sure that all your honey or maple is incorporated. Sprinkle with optional extras.  Place in fridge for an hour or till set.

If you don’t have chocolate moulds, you can also spread your mixture onto a baking tray and break into pieces once it has set.
