Also rich in Vitamin E and can be eaten by those unable to eat nuts, gluten, sugar or lactose. The oil contained in the hemp seed is approximately 75% polyunsaturated fats (the friendly good fats) and approximately 10% of the less desired saturated fats. The EFA’s contained in hemp seeds are considered essential as our bodies don’t naturally produce them. They can only be obtained by the foods we eat.
