Who says you can’t have chocolate for breakfast? This high protein cacao smoothie looks naughty, but is totally nice.

If you avoid starting your day with a smoothie because you end up hungry an hour later – this recipe is guaranteed to keep you satisfied until lunchtime. It’s packed with plant-based protein, fibre and healthy fats to help keep blood glucose levels steady. 

Our Ceremonial Raw Cacao is the highest quality on the planet, and is one of the richest sources of antioxidants. It’s grown to Certified Organic standards and dried at very low temperatures to prevent loss of nutrients.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your milk of choice)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 4-5 pitted dates
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ – ½ cup ice
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • ½ tbsp Australian Greens
  • ½ tbsp Ceremonial Raw Cacao

Method:

Blend all ingredients till smooth and enjoy. Top with chia seeds or cacao nibs for some extra crunch if you like.

Add extra ice and slightly less liquid to your base to turn this into a deliciously thick cacao smoothie bowl!
