WHY CERTIFIED ORGANIC?

We know it’s worth it.

Somewhere along the line we have allowed ourselves to been convinced by big business that it is safe to use chemicals on our food and that it’s ok to destroy soil and artificially feed plants.

Here at Forest Super Foods it costs us a lot of time and money to ensure the products we bring to you are certified organic – but we think it’s worth it for a few reasons:

  1. Certified Organic manufacturers need to adhere to extremely strict production standards with detailed processing records.
  2. In order for a product to be certified organic it must be grown and produced without GMOs, pesticides, herbicides and other nasties. It also cannot be fumigated on entry to Australia (like a lot of other foods are).
  3. Certified Organic products are grown in healthy soil and this results in a more nutritional product that is higher in antioxidants.

What super foods are certified organic? 100% except for WA Bee Pollen (which is grown in a rural part of WA far away from any industry).
